ICU (Intensive Care Unit)

Intensive care is one of the nursing services for patients with acute or chronic diseases that require continuous monitoring of vital functions and more specialized therapy, especially those requiring breathing apparatus.

RSU Bunda Margonda has an ICU room with a bed capacity, which is also equipped with an ICU isolation room for patients who require different treatment and has special equipment provided with skilled nurses and 24-hour doctors on duty.

HCU (High Care Unit)

The intensive care unit is a special place in a hospital that provides intensive services for monitoring vital functions continuously within 24 hours n. Where this intensive care will be able to improve and maintain further survival

In the High Care Unit treatment or Intermediate Nard, it is expected that there can be an improvement within 24 hours or no more than two months. In this treatment, the patient does not require special breathing apparatus with more uncomplicated care than ICU care.

The HCU treatment room at Bunda Margonda General Hospital has a bed capacity equipped with special equipment and skilled doctors and nurses.

NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

The NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) is a special care room for newborns (up to 28 days old) who require an intensive care room.

The infant intensive care room is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

Infants should be admitted to the NICU if:

1. Babies born prematurely
2. Low birth weight
3. Abnormalities occur after some time of birth

The maximum capacity of the NICU room at Bunda Margonda General Hospital is six incubators and two baby boxes and has received many referrals from other hospitals. The NICU service at Bunda Margonda General Hospital consists of NICU nurses and doctors who are reliable and trained.

The NICU is useful for intensive newborn observation:

1. Getting oxygen therapy
2. Getting intravenous therapy
3. Feeding through tools

The medical services provided by the NICU of Bunda Margonda General Hospital are level I, II, and III treatments consisting of mechanical ventilation (ventilator) treatment, exchange transfusion, premature baby care, surgical care, and congenital abnormalities, music therapy, and other at-risk baby care.

PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

PICU is an intensive service for children who require special treatment and care to prevent and treat the failure of vital organs. Children who should be admitted to the PICU are those who experience:

1. Acute respiratory problems
2. Serious accident
3. Complications
4. Organ function disorders
